The Party of Seven Farm, located in Stevens, Pa., is comprised of Daryl and Karen Mast, their five boys, and Karen's parents (aka Grandma and Grandpa), who also live on the farm.

Our Journey

Daryl and Karen grew up in Lancaster County, Daryl on a dairy farm, and Karen on a poultry farm. They married in 2002 and lived on the dairy farm in Morgantown for three years. After a few years of farming and hauling cattle, Daryl pursued his dream of bringing back what most had considered a relic of the past — fresh milk delivered to homes once a week.

Milk & More To Your Door

Doorstep Dairy, a milk and more delivery service, was launched by Daryl and Karen in 2010 and steadily grew yearly. With their superior customer service and delicious food, customers fell in love with the company and their products.

It was important to me to connect local people with the farmers who work with such constant dedication to produce ingredients for their meals.
- Daryl Mast

Today, his deliveries span across Lancaster, Berks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery Counties in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Orders placed in partnership with regional food producers are rooted in primarily organic and natural approaches.

More Than Deliveries

In the spring of 2023, the Mast Family had the opportunity to move to the poultry farm where Karen grew up. They aim to transition the commercial chicken farm into several pasture-based enterprises, such as laying hens, meat chickens, meat sheep, and possibly a few beef animals and a milk cow.

I love to carry on the work my family started. To work the same soil I did as a child.
- Karen Mast

The goal is to sell pasture-raised eggs in spring 2024 and several batches of pastured meat chickens throughout the 2024 growing season. We also hope our ewe sheep will birth their first lambs in March of 2024.

We hope to feed our family and those in our community by using regenerative agriculture methods, including pasture-based intensive rotational grazing practices.

The Garden

Our garden last summer started with a lot of ideas, and turned into a lot of work, a lot of fun, and a lot of veggies.

Don't miss a thing.
